Firefox 3.5 opens a new window automatically without any reason

Hi,

I'm using the firefox 3.5, recently update to the recent version, i think this version having some buy.

First - sometimes Firefox doesn't close some tabs, i don't know why its happening. I had to always restart firefox. It never happened before. I'm using Firefox from more than a year and i like it very well.

Second - For no reason Firefox opens the current tab window in new window, I don't know , what i do and it happens. But its happening only i update to the latest version.

Does any one else facing same issue?

Yeah it happens to me also, i noticed that it happens when you dragged the tab outside the tab bar, just drag it in. This thing wasn't present in previous versions. But i also take it as problem rather than a feature. There should be some way to disable it. But i never faced the closing tab problem. Help people?

Download this Add-on bug489729 (Disable detach and tear off tab) 1.3

Workaround: Bug 489729 - Clicking a tab once and then moving your mouse in a downward motion causes a new window to open.

Optionally(If you want):
Disable detach tab completery, Enable to create Shortcut on the desctop/explorer.

Cool , it worked. Many many thanks. Really wired that there is the bug in he final version released . May be its feature but not very convincing for users. And the closing tab problem not happens always , it happens only when i do open many tabs in one window, but that is ignorable. Thanks again.

It would have been helpful if could have provided us with more details as to what is your problem? If I am guessing correctly, then you have the same firefox issue, if so then try to download this addon and see if the problem goes away: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12276

Yes, I am having the same issue with Firefox. I'll try and see if that works.
