How to delete history items from Google toolbar?

Hi, how can i delete the google toolbar history? Whenever i type something to search in google toolbar the items shows up automatically. How can i disable or clear it?

Which browser you are using?

For IE Click on the Tools menu -> Internet Options -> General tab -> Click on Clear History button .

Clear your Toolbar search history

You can clear your search history from the Google Toolbar, Internet Explorer, or Firefox. To do so, follow the steps below for the search history you wish to clear

To clear your search history, click the drop-down arrow on the Toolbar search box, and click the Clear History link.

Deleting search history from Internet Explorer.

1. Click the Internet Explorer Tools menu, or press Alt-T on your keyboard.
2. Select Delete Browsing History.
3. Click Delete history and Delete forms.
4. Click Close.


Deleting search history from Firefox.

1. Click the Firefox Tools menu, or press Alt-T on your keyboard.
2. Select Clear Private Data.
3. Select the 'Browsing History' and 'Saved Form and Search History' checkboxes.
4. Click Clear Private Data Now.

To completely disable your Toolbar’s search history

• Select the “Options” button on the Toolbar
• Un-check the box next to “Drop-down search history”

To simply clear the current search history:

• Click the Google logo to access the drop-down menu
• Select the “Clear Search History” option
