How to send anonymous messages to your friends on facebook

I have received a message from one of friend, it has been forwarded to me only by getting the name out of his yahoo messenger list and it has also been forwarded to me anonymously when i asked him how he did that, he refused to tell me such thing so can anyone here tell me how could we send messages to other friends on their facebook account.
