How can i disable the Reopen Last Browsing Session Feature in IE8

I want to enable restoring last browsing session not only when IE8 crashes

    I have this
reopen tabs on IE8 after closing the browser

"The only workaround for this I have read is to terminate the ie8 process via task manager (alt+ctrl+del) to trick the app into thinking it crashed"

I've noticed when crashes in order to restore the last session IE8 creates 2 keys

    [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-682003330-179605362-839522115-1003\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Active]
    "{D208B954-5D68-11DE-A26E-0040F4A3A72A}"=dword:00000000

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Active]
    "{D208B954-5D68-11DE-A26E-0040F4A3A72A}"=dword:00000000

But "D208B954-5D68-11DE-A26E-0040F4A3A72A" varies all the time

Please help me slve this issue here

I think the best suggest from me is to try an clean reinstall or swith to IE7.
I never use internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox is much more better than the IE & other browsers.
The crash is very rare in Firefox.

Have you tried unchecking "Enable Auto Crash Recovery" under Internet Options-->Tools-->Advance to solve this issue

To do this go to the start button and then to run, type RegEdit and then click OK. In the Registry go to HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-682003330-179605362-839522115-1003\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\Active Right-click in the right pane. When the menu opens, choose New, DWORD Value. Name the new value NoFavoritesMenu. When the Edit DWORD Value dialog box opens, enter 1(one) and restart the computer. After you restart, you'll have no Favorites folder in the Start menu. If you decide you want the Favorites folder back, change the value back to 0(zero) and click OK, or just delete it. Close RegEdit and restart the computer to get the Favorites folder back into the Start menu.

But what's the connection between recovery session and favorites?

Internet Options-->Tools-->Reopen last session <-- reopens only the last tab, but when you emulate ie8 crash, after reboot it asks you and reopens all IE8 windows&tabs

Recovery session would be the system restoration point where it will recover any dll files or crashed resources, it would be done in two ways either through the OS cd or the system recover itself this is depending upon the system requirement. If the recovery session does not help you to heal your problem, then reinstall your IE to lower version..and then quote your problem here..
