Windows Vista Mail problems: Corrupted database??

I have a couple Windows Vista Mail problems, which may point to the same thing: Firstly, in some sub folders into which I have put various mails, each one now show "Message cannot be found
The contents of this message cannot be found." or, in other cases, it actually point to a completely different email! Secondly, new folders keep appearing in the Recovered Messages folder, but with no (apparent) content at any sub-level.. I am running Kaspersky with email-checking enabled. Having consulted another 'techy', it was suggested that perhaps the mail database is corrupted and that I would have to rebuild it (if possibble).. How do I do that?? I've looked in Mail, but cannot find any function like that.. Please help!

Try to disable Kaspersky's email protection. Might be that is interfering... Or it that doesn't help, simply delete all the email account and create them again...

Most probably the this problem occurs when a message was deleted by your antivirus program, but WM 's the database was not updated to reflect the deletion forms. Reboot and see first if it will rebuild the database because it it 'sounds s been spoiled. At this time it 's hard to tell which is worse the old DBX files for OE or Jet database is.

You system is affected with virus. Run a full system scan in safe mode. Then turn your antivirus protection off. Then update your windows vista. Some critical windows security update can fix up your issue. Second thing you can try run an system restore utility. It will restore back your setting.
