    A VHF/UHF video transmitter

I want to buy/build a VHF/UHF video transmitter that is affordable. I wish to hook it up with a camera( a cheap security camera with rca audio and video output) fitted on a r/c car so that i can transmit video to a portable tv. I dont wish to have a separate receiver and hence want the signal to be in vhf uhf range so that the television can catch the signal.

I want it to be cheap as the things i saw on the web comply to my requirements but are too costly. I am located in ncr region, india.

If possible tell me where i can buy it or how exactly can i make one of my own.

I dont have any knowledge of electronic circuits so the former is more preferable.

Actually I have a camera and only need a transmitter

And as I said before, I want to avoid the hassle of a receiver and want to directly transmit to the tv. I wish to fit it on a car and thus carrying the receiver around will be quite cumbersome. Also, I own a portable tv (Casio tv 770C) which is quite handy and hence I want to transmit the video to it. It can catch signals in uhf/vhf range.

As I told you, i dont know much of these circuits and hence it would be very difficult for me to make one of these. I am interested in buying the thing rather than making one.

ANy help would e greatly appreciated

for making here i have a circuit...for you

since you are not interested in making the circuits..
it's always better purchase the product in e bay according to your configuration
    good luck for you..

    Thanks for the reply
Actually, I have been trying to find some source for buying something that suits my reuirement but i have been unable to find any

My last option would obviously be to make the circuit but the problem is that the circuit would be too large to be fitted on a rc car

    Re: A VHF/UHF video transmitter

This is one way of combining several antennas on VHF/UHF by using a power combiner (or power splitter if you prefer to look at it from that angle). Using the principle of impedance transformation in a quater wavelength transmission line, a proper matching can be made between antennas and the downlead cable.

To build a RF combiner you need to design a coaxial quaterwave line, having a characteristic impedance Zo,
    determined from Zo^2 = Z1*Z2,
    where,
Z1 and Z2 are the impedances being matched.
This is normally done by using tubing - round or square - with air as dielectricum.

    deveritt
This thing is a simply too costly and has a very long range (600-900m)

I dont need much (about 30-40m)

But thank you for showin interest in my problem

If anybody could make this thing for me it would be a great help

If somebody lives in ncr region , he could tell me from where i can get this thing (preferably in ghaziabad)

I also think that it is a engineering final year project. So if somebody knows some shop which has electronicsprojects for engineering students, then i can think of it

I dont know much what you are looking for but is it like this what you are looking for?
    http://www.rentron.com/IR_TO_RF.htm
Here they let you know how to turn your IR transmitter into an RF transmitter & control stuff throughout your house.

    I have also found this:

    Hope this helps.
