FireShot is a Firefox extension that enables you to creates screenshots of web pages and edit them. Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations.

After you install it, it appears in your browser as a simple button next to the address bar, or integrated into your right click menu. It is also compatible with IE.Once you install it, you will see FireShot icon appear on the top left of your Firefox or IE browser. Another great feature is that you can always set a default tool button action for quick access. Just like I have chosen my shortcut key to copy the entire page’s screenshot to clipboard. Now I just have to use “CTRL + ALT + Z” to take screenshots. Screenshots can be saved to disk, copied to clipboard, e-mailed and sent to external editor for further processing.With FireShot it is possible to choose whether entire web page or only visible part of this page should be captured.
