Error on clicking any link in Internet Explorer

I am getting an error when ever trying to open any links in Internet Explorer. I get the following error when tring to open any site / links.

"Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site Http:// address of the site. Operation Aborted."

Can any one help with this???

Press windows Button + R or open RUN application. Then write regsvr32 mshtml.dll & press enter. Then again press windows button + R or Open Run application & then write regsvr32 shdocvw.dll & press enter. Now look at the email links if it works.
