    What is ASSERT in LSP ?

    I'm getting the following popup in IE every time
    iexplorer.exe
    Assert in LSP
    g_socket_data.Lookup(s)==0
    capture\lsp\nolsp\wsp_patches.cpp:1313
    Abort Retry Ignore
    Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks for any kind of help.

    Actually this error comes because of the Google desktop, to resolve this issue install the Google desktop 4.5 ("5.0.0611.15590") or the later version.

    Do the following :

    Uninstall or reset the IE plugins. and now run the following command in command prompt with admin rights :
    Code:
    netsh winsock reset

    and now restart the PC.

    I had the same problem and it got fixed by uninstalling the google desktop, if it doesn't works for you then try be starting IE without add-ons. and otherwise leave the IE and go with Firefox.
