What are labels in uTorrent ?

Can anyone explain what are the labels in uTorrent and for what purpose
they are used for ? please provide some necessary details and ideas regarding same.....thanks

Labels in uTorrent is a great feature for organizing groups of torrents, especially if you want to download at a later time. You will be able to start a group (or groups) of torrents simultaneously with just one click.

Initially you need to download the desired torrents ahead of time, and load them into µTorrent - but do NOT start them.(you can do this hours, even days beforehand).
To accomplish this, simply remove the checkmark for "Start torrent" when initially loading the *.torrent file.

To create a new label for these torrents,

• Highlight the newly added ’stopped’ torrents, right-click and select "Label > New Label…"
• Enter a name for the new label, and click OK.
• You’ll now notice there’s a new category (label) for these torrents, as listed in the left menu.
• As soon as your private tracker goes into that mode, simply right-click on the new label that you have just named (not the individual torrents) and select "Start". All torrents will now begin to download simultaneously.

Labels in uTorrent is used for labeling your torrents to identify them, or to use for sorting the torrents more easily.
For example, you can label your torrents from private trackers as "private", and then click on the Labels column to easily sort all your private torrents.

You can select one torrent or more than one to apply a label. Labels serves as a powerful feature in µTorrent.

• To add a label, or select an already existing label.
  Simply right click on the torrent(s), go to Label >-> click "New label..."
  
  
• To remove a label from a torrent,
  Rightclick the torrent, Labels >-> Remove Label.
  
  
• Unused labels are automatically removed from the list.
  
  
• You can add persistent labels in Advanced -> User Interface for the labels you wish to never disappear.
  The benefit of normal and persistent labels is that they can be used in tandem with "Move completed downloads to" in the Folders section. The label would be used as a subdirectory to place the completed download in.
