ohmy Unable to connect to Internet-Error Loading dll32

    Hey Guys,

I have installed Avast antivirus on my system. Last night i had updated my antivirus and had done a virus scan on my system. It detected a virus which i had moved to the chest. It was a file called dll32.dll. After rebooting my computer i got an error message stating that "Error loading dll32 The specified module could not be found". Now the problem is that i'm unable to access webpages through Internet Explorer. Can nay body help me out to get rod if the above problem? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.

Before removing anything try running this new version of Windows live scanner. It has a registry cleaner. Click full service scan and perform the full scan. If that does not help let us know. Disable Avast while using the scanner.

Restore the file Folders.dbx. Then locate the file Folders.dbx through the search tool of Windows (Start-->Search-->Files or Folders). Rename the file to make a backup, for example Folders.bak. Launch Outlook Express. Folders.dbx file is automatically recreated and the application opens correctly.

Note that some of these file(s)/folder(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in Safe Mode by doing the following:

    • Restart your computer
    • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear.

Select the first option to run Windows in Safe Mode hit enter.Reeboot.

To help protect your system from hostile ActiveX content, or special 'downloadable' files:

Download, install and keep updated, SpywareBlaster. If you've installed it for the first time:

    1) Check for any available updates; if present, they'll be automatically downloaded and installed.
    2) Next, "Enable all protection".
    3) Exit the program.

Note: Remember to regularly check for updates.
