Firefox 3.0.10 and 3.5 beta 4 download

Originally scheduled for mid-May 2009, the Mozilla Foundation has just released the final version 3.0.10 Firefox browser. The team is decidedly reactive, since this update is offered only six days after the 3.0.9 version.

Why so much haste? At the time of writing, the editor spoke of the correction of a major stability and a security hole discovered in the version published on 21 April 2009. At the root of the problem a previous security patch causing numerous crashes of the browser, especially for users of the HTML Validator extension named. The analysis of these cases showed a sudden corruption of memory that can be exploited for malicious purposes.

Note finally published a few days delay in the beta 4 of Firefox 3.5 aka Shiretoko also available on your favorite software.
