Specify a "Reply To" address in Windows Live Hotmail

One of my friend is using Hotmail. He use to send emails by signing in with his proper ID but the receiver of the mail gets another email address.

Yeah, that is an feature of Hotmail. If you send a message from your Windows Live Hotmail account, but want to receive replies at another email address, then you can use it. Well to do so you can use the Reply-To: header.

    1. Sign in to the Windows Live Hotmail website with your Windows Live Hotmail account.

    2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Options, and then click More options.

    3. Under Customize your mail, click Reply-to address.

    4. Select Other address, and then type the e-mail address you want people to reply to.

    5. Click Save.

    You are done..

You can even set your "from" address in Hotmail too:

First click options in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select "More options..." Under the header "Manage Your Account" select "Receive mail from other e-mail accounts."

    You are done.
