Contact list missing from yahoo messenger

Hello,

I have Newly opened an account in the Yahoomail, later that i sends an E-mail messages to my friends, till that i was unaware of Yahoo messenger, my friends have told me about that, so i joined to yahoo messenger,but i was unable to see my friends list on the yahoo messenger, i will have to manually add them to my messenger list which takes very long time so please suggest me how to import all the contact list to the Yahoo Messenger !

Which Yahoo messenger you have installed on your computer? Have u added all your contacts to your yahoomail E-mail ID? Please check first and let me know...

I have yahoo messenger version 9.0.0.797 installed on my computer, and sorrry to say that I have not saved all the contacts of my friends on the yahoomail ID. I have send the messeges to them without saving thier E-mail ID's.

Can you please let me know how to save E-mail ID and how to automatically import those into yahoo messenger.

Whenever you will send mails or add any friends name to the mail list then keep mind that you will add them to your address book, Once you have added to the address book those list will be automatically gets added to the yahoo messenger list if this not happend then just simply import from the yahoo mail id.
