Problem with Google Earth

hi there

Last night i was using google earth and suddenly a message came that it has to be closed down due to some problem. i closed it and today morning when i tried again it says not a valid version.

Please help me regarding this version

Try uninstalling through add/remove in control panel, then re-install.

Try turning off the hardware acceleration to see if that makes difference, usually found by right clicking the desktop. properties, settings,advanced,troubleshoot and move the slide all the way to the left.

Google Earth using Streaming media requiring access to the internet.

Perhaps your firewall is blocking it.
Are you on a high speed connection to accomodate it's needs.

"trying every conceivable suggestion offered by other computer users" isn't very specific. Did you contact Google's Support? Do you have a screen shot? Can you see your Start Button and taskbar/system tray?
