Internet explorer causes computer to freeze

Hi,

I don't know what causing the problem here, it seems internet explorer. When i starts it , after opening 2 or 3 windows it gets crashes . Then i restarts and again same thing happens. Sometimes after restarting computer hangs at welcome window, only in safe-mode it works properly. any help please?

That shouldn't be happening... Check the task manager to make sure there aren't a lot of programs running that don't need to be... Internet Explorer never freezes for me or anyone else I know. Scan you system with good anti-virus. and also manage your startup with msconfig command.

If you have Internet Explorer 7, you can repair damaged files or missing registration information in Internet Explorer 7. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start Internet Explorer 7.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset to confirm.

And also remove the unnecessary add-ons from IE.
