    Blocking the Pop-Up

    Hi,,
    While working on internet explorer, sometimes i get frustrated of pop-ups.i want
    to stop that pop-up. How can i do that?

    You can turn on the Pop-up Blocker to stop them when you are prompted to do this before the first pop-up window appears.To do so,do this:-

    1. On the Tools menu

    To configure the Pop-up Blocker on the Tools menu, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.

    2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Turn On Pop-up Blocker to turn on the Pop-up Blocker, or click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker to turn off the Pop-up Blocker.

    Now you will get any pop-up.

    2. From Internet Options

    To configure the Pop-up Blocker from Internet Options, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.

    2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

    3. Click the Privacy tab, and then select the Block pop-ups check box to turn on the Pop-up Blocker, or clear the Block pop-ups check box to turn off the Pop-up Blocker.

    4. Click Apply, and then click OK.

    To block pop-ups even if they are launched when you click a link or button on a Web site

    1. Open Internet Explorer.

    2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.

    3. Select the High setting in the box near the bottom of the dialog box.

    If you want to see pop-ups that are blocked when you have this setting turned on, hold down the CTRL key while the window opens.


    To change Pop-up Blocker settings

    1. Open Internet Explorer.

    2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.

    If you want to see pop-up windows from a specific Web site, type the address (or URL) of the site in the Address of Web site to allow box, and then click Add.

    Tip To temporarily allow a site to display pop-ups, click the Information Bar when it notifies you that a pop-up has been blocked. Then click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups.

    You can stop Pop-Ups installing softwares like "Pop-Up blocker" and "Google Toolbar" and many more you can find if search on Google.

    Or you can change your browsers to Fir Fox or Opera.

    This will definitely help you from Pop-Ups.
