How do i change my default mail program

Hey Friends,

I would like to know that i do i change my default Windows Mail to Yahoo Mails ? I have tried it several times but couldn't change it. Can any one help me out to change my default email program for my computer? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

To setup yahoo email as your default mail. .

• Download and install yahoo messenger.
  
• Click Tools-->Internet Options-->Programs tab in the menu.
  
• Make sure yahoo mail is selected under e-mail.
  
• Click OK. Yahoo mail as default using IE is not compatible when using windows vista.

To set up Yahoo Mail as your default email client in Windows:

• Download and install Yahoo! Messenger.
  
• Select Tools--> Internet Options--> From the menu in Internet Explorer.
• Go to the Programs tab.
  
• Make sure Yahoo! Mail is selected under E-mail.
  
• Click OK.

Here’s how to set your PC to open Yahoo! Mail when you click an email link on a web page.

1. From the Start pop-up menu in the lower left corner of your desktop, select Settings--> Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel, select Internet Options. This opens the Internet Properties window.

3. Click the Programs tab along the top.

4. Click the E-mail pull-down menu, and select Yahoo! Mail.

5. Click OK.
