Retry time not reached for any host

I've been getting the error for over a week, with any messages I try to send to through exim. My service provider blames Netvision, however sending works fine through other mail providers.

As the end user, I don't need to fix this, my ISP does - but as things often are, nothing will happen without some moving & shaking. Is this a matter of cleaning up exim's records, or could it indeed be the receiving server? Does Time Warner (socal.res.rr.com, see below) have anything to do with it?

Why is there no (SMTP) error code for the delivery failure?

It's not an error, its telling you that there was a prior error for the destination host and Exim's retry time hasn't been reached yet. You need to look earlier in your log for the original problem.

If you want Exim to retry straight away, try 'exim -qf' and watch for further errors.
Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.

    Hi,

I suggest you to check the quota for the domain and email account, because sometimes the error occurs if disk space exceeded.

Ya that was a nice suggestion. I also had doubt on this. Will check the quota for domain as well as for email account. Disk space can be an issue. However, still wonder how this can be
