    windows live messenger Error code 800706b5

    Hello,
    Yesterday when i try to login to windows live messenger it gave me an error "Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the services is
    temporarily unavailable.Please try again later. Error code 800706b5". I have tried looking up how to solve this problem but nothing is working.

    Hi,
    I have the same Problem.My windows defender got a new update this morning, do you think this is causing the problem? and if so how do I fix it? I have tried finding it in programs and features so I can remove it, but none of the updates in programs and features are related to windows defender !
    PLEASE help me!

    Well, the solution is simple:

    • Restart the computer.
    • Before the Windows logo appears press the F8 key to enter the boot menu of the operating system.
    • Of the options that appear choose the one that says "Last Known Good Configuration" and press Enter.
    • And that Windows can do the relations by the Messenger and ready.
    • Restart your computer to enter normal mode (without pressing F8), and that's it from now on there will be no connection problems.

    Just use Explore and go to your \Temp Folders and remove all files and sub-folders not in use. If in use, you can't remove them. Then run Disk Cleanup and remove all files like Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files and other areas.
