Windows Live Mail issue

Hello Friends,

I am using Windows Live Mail Desktop Version. I cannot send or receive emails. whenever i try to send mail it shows me Live Mail Error - 0x800CCC0E. Can anybody fix it?

If you have email scanning enabled in your antivirus program try disabling it. Its not useful when you are working on your system.

Go to Tools > Accounts > Mail - highlight your account > Properties > Servers Tab. Under 'Outgoing mail server', check that the box 'My server requires authentication' is checked.
