Unable to download a file from Yahoo Games

Hello Friends

I recently downloaded a game from Yahoo Games. When i downloaded that particular game it showed me that it had completed 100%, but when i tried to install that particular game it was showing me an error saying that it was missing a file and i had to download it again. But when i try to download again, it hardly goes to 10-30% before it says "Download failed, you might not be connected to the internet" I don't know why this error occurs while downloading? Can any one help me to resolve this issue? Any kind of information would be appreciated.

From where are you trying to install the game? I mean to say are you using the game disk or trying to download the installation software directly from the internet.A game disk contains everything in it, except any updates to that game.

I have downloaded that particular game from the internet and the file that i'm trying to download is called : \M2TW\medievalIItotalwar_mov.001

Is there something wrong with this file or is it any other problem?

Its better to buy a original game disk instead of downloading from the internet. There are chances of viruses which may attack your system directly. The original game disk will contain all the information related to its installation process and all other stuffs which may required for future references.

It might be that the game would consist high resolution in it, which your operating system may not be able to support. It can also be that your system would require additional graphic cards to support that particular game.
