Option to remove "search powered by Ask" in IE7

I get stuck in while accessing the internet explorer 7, an i get "search powered by Ask" on the search-bar. I tried removing this several times and had even change the default search to Google. But as i restart the application , it returns back. I really want to remove this option permanently. Is there any way to get rid out of this?

First try to place your mouse somewhere on an empty part of an IE tool bar and then right click on it. Check whether there is a check mark against 'Lock the toolbars'. If there is a check mark against it, then click on it to unlock them. Then afterwards click on the 'ASK toolbar' to remove the check mark and then finally re-lock the toolbars.

Now you will not face the problem again.
