intel 82801FB drivers problem

After installing windows XP I come up with an unknown device. "Intel(R) 82801FB LPC Interface Controller - 2640". The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28.)

What is the device and how do I fix the problem?

Did you install your chipset driver, right after XP was installed?

No I didn't. It was always showing up as unknown in the device manager. I sorted things out like audio and video, network prior to the chip set.

sylvester,the chipset driver needs to be installed first, before any other drivers, you need to start the intstallation again.
