Hanging problem with the Mozilla firefox and IE 7

Hi,
I have Mozilla Firefox installed on my comp, it has a file version 4.42.0.0 and Internet Explorer 7, I use any one of them, the problem is that whenever i open any application in the the other tab window in the Firefox browser it automatically gets slow even though i try to open very less size of internet page, such as google home window.But at the same time this won't happen with the IE 7. what may be the problem, please help

You just try to reinstall the Firefox application, sometimes simply reinstallation may also solve the problem.
