    Alternative to MSN

What program you may recommend as an alternative to the MSN which also can talk with msn?

I do not care whether it also can talk with one billion other programs, it just may with MSN.

If the normal MSN client does not work, then there is a strong possibility for the specific ports are blocked, and not programs. So yes, back to the Web Messenger, which I think works perfectly.

Trillian seemed even ok, and Miranda looks good enough woefully out. I do think sgu webmessenger is better.

Damn who believe that MSN is working fine & relevant .. blah blah blah

Miranda is very good. Handles virtually all clients.

Do not know exactly what you mean by it looks woefully out!

www.meebo.com is perfect to work. Otherwise, miranda is super.

Miranda can be configured to use webmessenger gateway, so that as long as you have http access from your network you can use msn. And then think there are skins for miranda if you are dissatisfied with the look.

Trillian - it has also Wikipedia built on word that checks while chatting. Very nice when you write with one with no idea what he is talking about. So you just hold your mouse over the word and a good explanation as a small Bubbles over the word.
