PC reboots after upgrading uTorrent

I've been using uTorrent from long time and I have not had any problems so far.
Has coincided and I do not know if this is the cause, but upgraded to the XP SP3 and uTorrent to version 1.8 and since then the computer restarts only. Sometimes it is enough hours downloading and then suddenly restarts very often. If you close the uTorrent, the PC works properly without reboots.
Someone can give me a solution?

Well, of course, you have to uninstall the torrent, then remove your folders and run the CCleaner to clean the disk and the registry, then rebooting and re-installing the program to see if that works, and if not put an earlier version and see if that works.
