Internet Explorer does not open some hyperlinks

Hello!I have a problem with the explorer.In some places like hotmail for example, when trying to open a hyperlink nothing happens, I can not read my mail pq I can not open. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem persists. As can I fix this?Using Windows XP Home. Thank you!

possibly missing you install the java, which does not come with xp, you can download it from:

http://www.java.com/en/
