How to configure your Email account in order to receive messages from TechArena Community

Introduction

TechArena Community sends feedback to users via email, using the address provided by the member at registration.

Many email services have implemented antispam filters, which sometimes identify our board's message as spam, and place them into the Spam/Bulk folder of the account.

In order to receive all our messages, you need to add noreply@techarena.in to your contact list.


Guidelines about how to do it for the most common email services are included below,

Yahoo! Mail Configuration

1. Login to your Yahoo! Mail account and click on the Contacts tab (in the upper left hand corner of the page)
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Click the Add Contact button
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Fill in the fields with the following information:
   
   
   • First Name: TechArena
   • Last Name: Community
   • Nickname: TechArena
   • E-mail: noreply@techarena.in
   
   Save the newly added contact!

GMail Configuration

1. Login to your GMail account and click on the Contacts button
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Click on the icon indicated by pink circle in the image below, which will open beside the window for adding new contact.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Add the new contact, using the information below:
   
   
   • Name: TechArena Community
   • Email: noreply@techarena.in
   
   Save the newly added contact!

Hotmail Configuration

1. Login to your Hotmail account and click on Contacts button
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Click on the New button.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Add the new contact using the following information:
   
   
   • First name: TechArena
   • Last name: Community
   • Nickname: TechArena
   • Personal e-mail: noreply@techarena.in
   
   Save the newly added contact!
