how to develop flash video player

I need to develop flash video player. It should play video via RTMP protocol. But I can't find any samples / libraries for this...
Any help will be appreciated.

I give this advice: look for ready-made flash player with open source. Learn the structure of the code, try to understand the logic of the application. Then you can take the tools and make your player!

Subtitles is a major feature that you need to implement in the video player that you want to make, because I have seen that even in VLC media player the subtitles dont work properly, so if you can get this feature working then the video player would be a success.
