developing softphone with fine sound quality - ideas and comments

Hello! When I started my business I used to have a free softphone with poor voice quality but I decided to change it for a better one. I tested then I purchased Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK and the video and voice quality seems to be all right (sample p.: Addressing video quality). It supports many codecs and is compatible with lots of open source pbxes like Asterisk. Have you got similar experiences? Any bad points?

I have not yet experienced the same but then i have found that from my research i have found that VoIP is having the below drawbacks.
No service when there is a power outage
    • Reliability
    • Security
    • Emergency calls
    • VoIP Voice Quality- which you have mentioned has been solved in your case.
