VB: Validating Username and Password In CSV File

Hi all,

I'm a considerable novice when it comes to VB. I am designing an application that has a password screen where a user has to input his username and password before continuing through to future screens. The username and password are validated against entries found in a CSV file.

The entries in the CSV file look like the below:

Strong, PAPER, Elephant99, 5/2/11
Karson, RANDOLPH, Phillies32, 6/7/09

The second and third values on the lines are the username and password, respectively.

While I know the basic steps to read a CSV file, I have no clue as to how to validate the username and password against the entries in the CSV file. Any help would be dearly appreciated.

For appropriate solution for this I will recommend you to see some tutorial videos on youtube which can tell you easy steps to create a password system on vb. There are ample of tutorial on the web which you can see and figure out the actual working for the same.
