Re: Differences Between Prolog and Lisp

yes you are write both prolog and Lisp are used in artificial intelligence. Prolog and Lisp are computer system coding languages or programming language. Both of them are mainly programmed to handle tasks. Both can handle the same task, but the main difference is both of them have their own dissimilar approach and have dissimilar strength and weakness to do tasks. however Lisp is a functional kind of language and Prolog is a logic kind of programming .Lisp can handle different kind of tasks while the prolog can handle same kind of tasks.

Re: Differences Between Prolog and Lisp

Lisp is a little more "conventional" in terms of a computer system programming words . when you provide information to the computer, and the program perform functions that what you have provided. It is a bit analogous to binary. There is a whole number system of numbers in binary language, and when you entes one of those numbers, the computer can understand that only assignment that what you provided to it. The difference is that Lisp is a kind of conventional language, where you provides data and the series of programs executes it or compute it. Prolog is somewhat like a database language and the main thing is Lisp got lots of built in functions and keywords, so many different kind of task or programs can be simply coded using it. While Prolog got only limited pair of keywords.

Re: Differences Between Prolog and Lisp

Prolog and Lisp are 2 of the mainly famous Artificial Intelligence computer programming languages . Prolog is a declarative whereas Lisp is a purposeful language. Both are use for a variety of AI troubles but Prolog is mainly and only used for logic and calculation problems, while Lisp is used for problems with quick prototyping requirements. Prolog is very simple, there are only few versions of it. programmers and system wizards even DON’T distinguish between the different types. somewhat there are minute variation surrounded by the Prolog systems. the differences are not really consider so much with in them. Alternatively Lisp got 2 usually used versions, even though there are some others which are not used as often. since the Prolog is minor and more exact, prolog is very easier to use and easy to understand as compare to Lisp.
