What are dynamic controls in DHTML

I have clear with some concepts on DHTML. Evolution of HTML, allowing the contents of a page to be formatted with more flexibility and accuracy, text, images and other objects embedded in the document can be displayed or hidden by setting the same kind of emotional impact of a multimedia application, but .. . still lacks a standard. Now I want to know about the dynamic controls. I have to explain it in my assignments (and I am not aware of it ). So thought that you will assist me in this topic. Please tell me what are dynamic controls in DHTML? Any other information related to the topic would be appreciable.

Due to absolute positioning the contents of a document can be placed anywhere and animated. Thanks to the dynamic control via CSS, can be modified at any time (for now only with IE 4.0). But there is another possibility: the creation of dynamic pages, the content can be created and exposed, without charge or redesign the document, directly through the object model or through the LAYER tag in Communicator 4.0. Although the possibility of creating content on the fly dell DHtml existed before, the old techniques that require the whole document or frame should be charged. Moreover, thanks to data binding, which allows the client to connect to the server to update the content of a page, the data in a database can be displayed in tables or form elements in an HTML document. Most of the features of organization of the data set becomes part of the checks, so that it becomes easier to manipulate. The data can also form elements, and each field of the database can be displayed and updated separately. The data in the form elements can be sent back to the server, updating, if necessary, the data. The implementation of DHTML by Microsoft incorporates a set of controls for multimedia that enhance the graphics and sound in documents. All of these controls can be driven by scripting languages, allowing the author to interact with the user. The checks include visual transitions between images such as PowerPoint, animation and application of digital filters. For example, when you click on an image, a script can automatically apply a filter inverts the colors. You can also combine with absolute positioning control of the filter to make the document lively, or a major title can be filtered motion blur.

With control of the transitions, the authors can create pleasing effects opening and closing documents to HTML. The control of the transition occurs with an initialization of the type of transition (eg, wipe, box, and dissolves) which can be applied to the document or to some objects in the document through a script should be. The animation control provides more accuracy to animations. Previously, the authors of Web pages should make use of animated GIFs (which could not be controlled with the script language) to enliven their pages. With control of the animation, the authors can control the frames per second, their order, and other properties of an animation through script in the document. This means that animations can respond iteration of the user with any other object on the page.

As for audio, mixer control can be used to create and launch multi-channel stereo sound. The sound can be loaded into the controller on the mixer, combined with other sounds, and then activated on demand by a script. In Communicator 4.0, audio on-demand can be achieved through in-Pulg LiveAudio. After this introduction you should be showing up an idea of what it is and how it operates DHTML, then you are ready to face the course on DHTML.

DHTML implementation of Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 were added to control media objects and data objects through scripting that allow you to use stereo sound, to manipulate images on-the-fly (the fly), and access to existing databases on a server or client. Another improvement introduced by Dhtml the operation and interactivity of a document. A document is intended as an object, the DHTML document expands the model by making it more similar to scripting languages like JavaScript and VBScript, and shall provide greater control over the object itself. Thanks to this extended model, the content of the Web page becomes more flexible, text, images and other objects embedded in the document can be displayed or hidden as needed. Have also been extended events associated with the objects so that, through the scripting language, you can capture the user's actions, to intercept the beat of a button, and a variety of mouse actions.

Using the CSS, everything, from the height to the width of the line in the margin, the font can be specified, if a particular font is not present on the remote machine, you select the one that comes closest the font chosen by the author. Conversely, the Web page you previously could only use seven different sizes of fonts. With CSS you exceed this limit by allowing you to define with precision the size in points or pixels. CSS supports Internet Explorer version 3.0, Netscape Communicator version 4.0. The implementation of DHTML in IE 4.0 allows you to dynamically change all aspects of the styles of a document. For example, a link can increase the size when the mouse passes over it. Currently, Communicator 4.0 does not support CSS control using JavaScript.
