    What is the HTML editor?

Hello everybody, we have given an assignment about the HTML editor. Now frankly speaking I am not having enough knowledge about it, so thought that somebody hanging out there will run for my rescue. Please provide some description about the HTML editor as soon as possible. Since, you members provide good information I thought that instead of searching on Internet, it would be better if I post here. Any other notes regarding the topic would be appreciable.

Re: What is the HTML editor?

The market is fraught with dozens of software specialization in creating HTML pages, so-called HTML editor. The complexity of these programs have reached very high levels but has followed different paths. Basically the market has two types of HTML editor:
    • Text editors
These are programs that offer direct changes to the code with the possibility of pure HTML preview of the result. To simplify writing of code make available pre-activated commands with simple clicks. The most useful of these tools is a mastery of pure HTML code that can communicate to the users. The major failing is learning more difficult than the WYSIWYG editor.
    • WYSIWYG Editor
The above acronym stands for What You See Is What You Get, and Italianate means that what you see on screen is what you get in a web browser, in other words they do not display the HTML editor, but only the objects, images and text. In this way the developer is working on HTML code on the page but as it will be displayed by your browser: moving objects by dragging and dropping the mouse, using predefined layouts etc..

Re: What is the HTML editor?

The advantage of this type of editor is obvious: the effort to understand the HTML specification is minimized and the learning time is very short. According to the writer, however, these types of editors (Front Page is a concrete example) does not include the ability to customize the HTML and use. It would run the risk of creating sites with a layout identical copy to the other and, in the presence of errors that the editor is unable to resolve, not being able to go beyond what the program provides. Regardless of subjective opinions on programs for HTML, it is designed to understand the basics of pure HTML. Continuing this course you will not be faced with a tutorial on the editor of the most common commands, but before the HTML and pure universal. Leaves throughout the course of this tutorial your editor and focus on the notions of code that your guide has from time to time. Including the basics of HTML you can choose whether to use text editor or WYSIWYG editor, in both cases you have awareness of the limits, being able to make better use of all instruments that the market offers you.

HTML tags that are not in need of closure, because their function is not to mark an item, but to provide different information. From time to time we will indicate which items they need for closure and what function properly even if they are free. Now that you have an idea of what HTML is and how it works you are ready to take the course held by Massimo Valenti of HTML. This course is structured in a simple and clear so suitable for beginners of the language, but also offers interesting ideas for experienced users. Click on the subject that you're more interested, though, I suggest you (if you're a beginner) to follow the course step by step on the correlation between classes the other. Good luck. HTML tags are case insensitive, that is absolutely independent of the upper and lower case. What is interesting to emphasize here is the general use of HTML tags: as can be seen easily from the example, the tag <font color="red"> is placed immediately before and after the sentence to be formatted in red. The only difference is that the tag before the sentence is <font color="red">, while the closing is </ font>. The bar placed vertically to the right tells the browser that the <font> previously opened, in this case is closed. We have thus created a small marking, however, symptomatic of the functioning of HTML.

Re: What is the HTML editor?

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language ("markup language for hypertext") and is not a programming language (there are programming languages C, C + +, Pascal, Java, and scripting languages PHP , ASP, Perl, JavaScript). Instead, it is a markup language (or 'marking'), which allows you to specify how to arrange the elements on the page: the indications are given through the appropriate markers, known as "tags". HTML, while being endowed with its own syntax, does not require steely and impeccable logic of programming languages: if you forget to close your tags, they are not products of the error messages, if not complied with the syntax probably will not get the display the page you want, but nothing else.

Affection What is the HTML editor?

An HTML editor is a software application for creating web pages. Although the HTML markup of a web page can be written with any text editor, specialized HTML editors can offer convenience and added functionality. For example, many HTML editors work not only with HTML, but also with related technologies such as CSS, XML and JavaScript or ECMAScript. In some cases they also manage communication with remote web servers via FTP and WebDAV, and version management systems such as CVS or Subversion.
