XL document reading using php

I need to get the particular row or column data using php (ie. 4th row's and 5th colum's data in particular XL Doc). plz give me ... idea

But why do you want to use php only to retrieve the data? You can instead use SQL query to fetch data from your database. Just mention the row number and column number in your query and you will get the proper data. You can also include this query in your PHP code.
