    Simulate Java Card Applet

    Hello,
Please, I would like to know the steps to simulate an applet Java Card (JCWDE and APDUTOOL) in Eclipse, under Windows XP. I have very less idea about both, the java and the eclipse. So, please help me with this. Thank you.

Although born into the world of JavaCard, to know the simulation procedure of the board I'll read the tutorial on the sun's officials site entitled introduction to programming windows JavaCard. So, I would even recommend you to study some of the basics first.

    Re: Simulate Java Card Applet

The choice of names and short contiguous records in accordance with the naming convention of MS-DOS (eight characters or less followed by a three-character extension) is crucial when feature names cause problems in the compilation text , so avoid using directories such as:
    Code:
    c: \ Program Files \ java
    c: \ JCDK \ ~ 1 java_c
(These command lines will cause compilation problems). Here is an example that will probably be useful:
Set the environment variables JAVA_HOME and JC_HOME that will to contain the paths respectively JAVA and JCDK, these roads will be specified in the environment variable PATH.

I think this may the solution :
We must work with the version of eclipse 3.2.2, if not any other version does not work with simulation tools. This is by experience because even I had the same problem as you.

    Re: Simulate Java Card Applet

Finally I find the solution on a small note posted on the forum sun, in short, check THE PATH environment variable of your JAHA_HOME
    ca me CETE JAVA_HOME = C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0_10
    by changing just by the equivalent JAVA_HOME = C: \ progra ~ 1 \ Java \ jdk1.6.0_10
tt it works, in fact it is known to follow a format SFN 03.08
PB PERSISTS EVEN IF FEEL FREE TO REPLACE TT occurrence of "PROGRAM FILES" BY "progra ~ 1" ds the environment variable
