In open office you do " file > > save as ". In the new window is a scrolling list. You select " Microsoft Office Document " or " Excel workbook " or something of that kind , I remember exactly : You choose the location where you want to save your file and you valid. It should be . xls. Once you convert all your files in open office . xls , you can delete open office so it will no longer serves any purpose . But before APS . Otherwise you will be blocked.

OpenOffice.org can also read and write most Office formats . Thus , you can easily open, edit and save Office documents in 2007 ( or earlier). The compatibility between OpenOffice.org and the files of the Microsoft Office suite is excellent, so it allows a smooth transition from one to another, we encourage you to do so without restriction.
