Confused between AJAX and Java

Hi All,

I just started to learn 'AJAX'. I have sound knowledge about the java programming language. But I don't have any idea about exact difference between AJAX and Java. I have referred various AJAX books, but nothing was helpful. If you aware any difference between AJAX and Java, then please know that. I am waiting for your reply.
