How to configure multiple cluster replicator in Domino server

Hi all,

I have a database, frequency of use is very high, and because these databases regularly send update request which led to the cluster replicator overload, i need to consider the use of multiple cluster replicator. In a server to run multiple clusters skimmers, i need also copy the new changes to the other server. Because if a cluster replicator in the change is replicated to a database, busy, there will be another one Cluster Replicator to replicate the changes to other . Please help.

Re: How to configure multiple cluster replicator in Domino server

You can cluster replication statistics (show stat replica.cluster * command or in the administrator client to see) to determine how many need to run the cluster replicator. On how to view a copy of the cluster statistics, please refer to the administrator to help.Such as: Replica.Cluster.WorkQueueDepth show that has been modified to wait for the database to copy the number. If you wait for the database is greater than 0, then the number of frequent need to consider adding one or more cluster replicator. Check and reply.

How to configure multiple cluster replicator in Domino server

Replica.Cluster.SecondsOnQueue display the replication queue waiting for the last one database in the time required for replication. Since the cluster replicator checks every 15 seconds once a queue, in the case of light load, this number should be less than 15. If the counts are always greater than 30, then you need to consider adding one or more replicator. All the best.

How to configure multiple cluster replicator in Domino server

To start multiple Cluster Replicator,Domino can be configured to start automatically each time the server starts multiple clusters skimmers, only the current session can be started more than a cluster replicator. Start the server automatically when you start multiple Cluster Replicator. To start the server automatically starts when the number of clusters skimmers, the need in the server's NOTES.INI file, add or modify the following parameters:
Code:
CLUSTER_REPLICATORS = Number
Number is the number of devices required for the cluster replication.
All the best.

Re: How to configure multiple cluster replicator in Domino server

If there is not enough network bandwidth to handle the transmission services, then wait for the number of copies of the database is likely to be greater than 0. If the time because the network bandwidth reasons, you need to consider specifically for the cluster to build a private local area network. In addition, add the processor and memory can also improve replication performance. To add the NOTES.INI parameter, you can use the Domino Administrator or Web Administrator, or a way to directly modify the server notes.ini. All the best.
