Script execution machine available by mail

    Hello
I want to run scripts on a machine that is not directly accessible. I can send mail through my scripts and that the daemon is running a receipt and then return me the result by mail. You know if there are scripts or commands to do this please let me know. Any suggestion on this. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
There is no standard enables that you can do with it, for the simple reason that AC would be a huge security risk! If however you are on a secure network, nothing prevents you to write this script by hand. You must see this with your email software so it can call a script on receipt of an email replying to certain criteria. Hope this helps you. Any more queries do post back.

    Hi
Precisely because of security problems that I hesitate to implement my solution. I imagine that this problem is common and there should be tools using any authentication mechanism. Ya, I forgot that the target environment is Linux. Failing that, and before I start my own implementation, what approach you find most relevant? Any ideas on this ideas? Thank you.

What are your restrictions to access the machine? I hope they are not the connection such as ssh, ftp, telnet. If you post an program here, it would be better for me to give a perfect reply.
