plesk vs cpanel : Generally for Linux operating systems the control panel which is preferred by most of the users is cPanel. Parallels Plesk Panel allows a server administrator to set up new websites, reseller accounts, e-mail accounts, and DNS entries through a web-based interface. Plesk is considered to be the most reliable control panel in the Windows web hosting industry and this is the reason that it is also preferred by most of the users of Windows operating systems.

    Re: Cpanel vs Plesk

I prefer cPanel over Plesk, although both are comparable regarding features. cPanel seems to be more popular, in Plesk 7.5.6 for Windows and onward, all virtual hosts can run under their own worker process group, secured using their own respective IIS user.

    Re: Cpanel vs Plesk

cPanel is a unix based web hosting control panel that provides a graphical interface and automation tools designed to simplify the process of hosting a web site. Cpanel for sure. If you compare plesk vs cpanel, cpanel is fast and allows lots of control. The file manager is very powerful for example. It's also most common among hosts, so when you have to move hosts (and you will) they can do a Cpanel to Cpanel transfer of all your files, settings, etc.
