Re: Which DBMS for J2ME?

hello
there is a version of DBMS called SQLCE(compact edition) or sqlmobile which is the mobile edition of sqlserver, I have worked for a project on PDA but it is more better in an application development ,not on J2ME , I do not know if it works with java , but you can try it for yourself

SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition
SQL Server Compact 3.5 is a free, easy-to-use embedded database engine that lets developers build robust Windows Desktop and mobile applications that run on all Windows platforms including Windows XP, Vista, Pocket PC, and Smartphone.

Re: Which DBMS for J2ME?

The Smart Device Extensions are tools to extend the capabilities of Visual Studio. NET in order to provide a totally integrated end to end. SDE proposes an emulator PocketPC and Windows CE and an extension of the IDE for graphically designing mobile applications while complying with the Compact Framework. Creating a program for pocketPC is exactly the same principle as a classic application VB.NET or C #.
