recommendations needed for Web 2.0 technology

Hi, I am new to Web 2.0 technology and I want to learn to create dynamic web content. I have heard many things about AJAX and Flash but these all technology is new to me in websites general. Hope that I will get the answers for this soon and any knind of help is apprciated.

There are may softwares such as jQuery, Ajax, XML, Flash that can used for Web 2.0 technology. But it is upto you to decide which among these you will take. One my friend found JQuery using JSON instead of XML very easy to use.
