Assembly to Hex converter for AVR ATmega series

Hello friends,

I am looking for a Assembly to Hex converter for AVR ATmega8, ATmega16, ATmega32.I am deeply in to 8051 and now I wish to begin with AVR
I am dealing with AVR programs only in assembly language.

Please help me in this regard.

Hi there,I just went through the atmel official web site.I saw a lot of Software's like AVR Studio 4.17 (build 666), AVR Studio 4.16 SP1 (build 638), AVR Studio 4.16 (build 628) and many more.you can go to this and grab the software for your requirement.

The "Assembly to Hex converter" conversion tool is named assembler, I think, you should have heard the term early.For ATmega families, this tool is provided by Atmel for free of cost. go to their website and check it out.I would advise you get the most recent release. It has all of the updated features and fixes.AVRSTUDIO4 is absolutely free and it is the full-featured version. It has not been crippled in any way.

Currently am not using the Atmel tools. AVR Studio and AVR Studio32 are free, at least AVR Studio als has an assembler. It's familiar with free WinAVR (GNU) C-compiler. I would probably get the most recent final (not beta) version of the tools.if you are still in need of an assembly to hex file converter. there is a software,it is somewhat part of MPLABIDE software
