Microsoft installing .net 3.5 on iis

hi
need hep to installing microsoft .net 3.5 on iis i have read IIS and ASP.NET 2.0 but i dont this this going to help me as version is complete different so can some one can be more more specific ?

You see the catch that you can choose between framework 1.1 and 2.0 but no framework 3.0 or 3.5, yet the framework 3.5 is installed. Quite normal in fact, your site. Net 3.5 turns very well. NET framework 2.0, there is nothing to edit. To understand what is normal, you must first remember what the framework 3.0 and 3.5. I'm trying on iis5.1 and the 3.5 framework but the framework 2.0 is installed. I have this error and I do not understand the error: Server Application Unavailable.The web application attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable.
