Reliability of PDF Conversion Software on different format

There are 1000's of PDF conversion software available in the market with their on type of different features and flexibility .Being an online market guy, I understand the need of documents in Word and Excel formate from the PDF files to move ahead with the further customization of the data in a presentable format.

I would like to know how much we can rely on these software as I have used multiple packages having some pros and cons with very few software at my perfection level. I always face a problem of converting multiple PDF Files in Word an Excel and also loosing the actual format of data and images.
CAN SOMEBODY SUGGEST ME A GOOD PDF CONVERSION SOFTWARE AS I AM ON DYING STAGE WITH REGARDS TO MY BUSINESS AND I ACTUALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET A REAL PDF SOFTWARE
