where are good places to have links

I own three websites & want to advertise at other website for popularity & i know that Yahoo, Google & MSN are that places. But i want to do it without paying any money. Can anyone help me out here...???

There are many ways to do that but the best way to that without paying money is Google Adsense & Adword which is totally free & also it gives you the money for it.

If the sites are new, I suggest to submit the site to Yahoo Directory and the DMOZ to start. These will help in fetching the customer through various places.

Also it depends on the website you holding. Actually you can do one thing is that you can go to different website & paste your link which is called spamming but only some sites only allow it. So it depends on your luck..!
