    Table "is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

    Hi,

    I got this message Table "is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

    I don't understand what is the actual problem & where it is crashed? When i can not see any problem & the table is working quite fine for me.

    Do anyone else here have any idea about this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Well the answer is that you can find it on your own.

    If you have phpmyadmin then you can go to control panel & repair the table.

    These crashes occur when the transaction is in execution & server crashes.

    You can see the log in mysql log files.

    1) Login to your cPanel
    2) Go to the MySQL section, and click the "REPAIR" icon next to your database's name

    Re: Table "is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

    Hey I have got this error before & this is what i did to the table.
    I clicked on the SQL tab to run an SQL command on this table.

    REPAIR TABLE tablename;

    Then I had to run

    mythcommflag --rebuild -f

    on my tablename.

    This solved the problem.
