SQL Server 2005 and IIS 7 I have a windows Vista home edition. While installing SQL server 2005 i have received error that says IIS was not installed and therefore Reporting Services cannot be installed. so i canceled in control Panel IIS is listed but all the features were not installed.when I type http:/localhost and SQL Server does not recognize that IIS installed. Can anyone help me to solve this please? thank you . |

Re: SQL Server 2005 and IIS 7 This editions of Windows Vista do not come with Windows authentication for IIS. so you will need to upgrade it to greater version like the Professional or Ultimate editions. |

Re: SQL Server 2005 and IIS 7 SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Service Pack1 have some issues with User Access Control.For other version Service Pack 2 will be required you can check for recent latest update download which helps you better to operate |
